About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Line Maintenance Technician at Pharmascience. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute line equipment dismantling and set-ups with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure the integrity of parts during equipment set-up and dismantling, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete parameter sheets accurately and update them as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Set up and start the line efficiently to meet production deadlines and reach line speed goals.
  • Participate in component and bulk replenishment to support proper operation of the production line.
  • Document and explain downtime causes using our system, and execute tests during production as needed.
  • Carry out cleaning of parts, equipment, and premises, and check and approve cleaning of parts and equipment as required.
  • Plan and prepare equipment parts needed for the next order to reduce start-up time.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
  • Identify and suggest solutions to improve line efficiency, and participate in the line purge.
  • Complete work orders or repair orders, and follow up on their execution.
  • Apply and respect GMPs and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Good mechanical knowledge and self-reliance.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose downtime causes and implement solutions to minimize line downtime.
  • Capable of working to meet set standard times based on quality standards.
  • Good team spirit and ability to work towards desired results.
  • Good communication skills and ability to inform colleagues of past activities on the line.
  • Must always wear individual protection equipment and work in a standing position.
  • Ability to operate a barrel-lifter and pallet truck, and handle loads up to 20 kg.
