Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Product Preparation: Assist with the preparation of baked goods, including mixing, baking, and packaging.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving and stocking products, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards and performing regular cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability to work 30 hours per week.
