Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
  • Carry customer's purchases to parking lot and pack orders in customers' vehicles
  • Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
  • Record incoming stock
  • Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
