We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Galvez's Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and physical stamina to perform tasks.
Work Environment

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and we require our Home Support Workers to be comfortable working in these settings.
