We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Hassan Ellaw, Inas Hamid. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote their physical well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to support clients' dietary needs.
Certifications and Training
  • CPR Certificate to ensure clients receive immediate medical attention in case of an emergency.
  • First Aid Certificate to provide basic medical care and treatment.
Security and Safety
  • Criminal record check to ensure the safety and security of our clients and staff.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them integrate into Canadian society.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to promote their career development.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Term: Permanent
