As a key member of the Academia Group, the Director of Advancement plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our advancement efforts, leveraging their expertise to drive philanthropic revenue and foster a culture of community engagement.

About the Role:

  • Lead a dedicated team of professionals across major gifts, annual giving, special events, communications, and alumni relations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase philanthropic revenue and advance our mission
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Academia Group, demonstrating the importance of fundraising and community relations
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to advance our strategic objectives

About You:

  • Proven track record of success in senior advancement roles, with a focus on major and principal gifts
  • Expertise in capital campaigns and a strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Warm and engaging leadership style, with a reputation as an outstanding team player
  • Ability to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships
