Human Resources Role Overview

At Hisense Canada Co., we are seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator and Management Expert to join our team. This role will play a vital part in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding.

  • Recruitment and Hiring: Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a pool of qualified candidates and effective hiring strategies.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored hiring approaches.
  • Job Analysis and Description: Conduct thorough job analyses to create accurate and compelling job descriptions that attract top talent.

Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

  • Employee Support: Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts or issues, promoting a harmonious team dynamic.

Benefits Administration and HRIS Management:

  • Benefits Management: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system, generating reports and analyzing HR data to inform business decisions.

Training and Development:

  • Training Coordination: Coordinate employee training and development programs, identifying skill gaps and implementing training initiatives to enhance employee performance.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.

Performance Management:

  • Performance Support: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions, to drive employee growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
