Financial Records Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Records Manager to join our team at The Chopped Leaf. This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts. If you have experience in bookkeeping and a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements: Accurately record and reconcile all financial transactions, ensuring that the company's financial records are accurate and reliable.
- Prepare tax returns: Calculate and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll: Accurately calculate employee salaries and benefits, and prepare cheques for payment.
- Reconcile accounts: Regularly reconcile all company accounts, including bank and credit card statements, to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
- Skills: Proficient in bookkeeping and accounting software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately under pressure.
