About the Role:

Giant Tiger is seeking a skilled Softgoods Associate to join our team in St-Jérôme. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our softgoods products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Restock and replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a consistent and appealing store image.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
