Job Title: Softgoods Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Softgoods Sales Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger in St-Jérôme. As a Softgoods Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including knowledge of softgoods products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
