Site Procurement Operations Specialist

As a critical member of the Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC team, you will play a key role in overseeing the site's indirect procurement operation responsibilities, including vendor management, purchase order management, and inventory management. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to drive efficiencies and cost savings.

  • Develop and implement effective procurement processes and policies to ensure compliance with Amazon's procurement standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure timely and accurate execution of procurement tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the finance and procurement operations teams to ensure alignment and effective use of budgetary resources.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement operations, preferably in a similar role within Amazon or a comparable organization.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements through effective procurement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform procurement decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
