Job Summary

Cambrian Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member experiences, processing transactions, and promoting Cambrian's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized service to members, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process a wide range of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Cambrian's products and services, effectively communicating their features and benefits to members.
  • Identify sales and referral opportunities, actively promoting Cambrian's products and services to meet member needs.
  • Proactively respond to and resolve member concerns, escalating non-standard issues as necessary.
  • Operate within the framework of Cambrian's policies and procedures, ensuring the safeguarding of cash and the prevention of fraudulent transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Member Services Manager and Member Services Lead to achieve branch objectives and provide additional support as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent, with post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • One-year customer service and/or cash handling experience, supported by an eagerness to learn and determination to succeed.
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
  • Ability to learn and follow established procedures, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable communicator, both written and oral.
  • Strong drive to continuously improve and add value to the business.

What We Offer

The starting wage for this position is $19.75 per hour during the probation period and increases to $20.50 per hour after passing probation and our training program.
