At RIMEX Supply, we are seeking an exceptional Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Saskatoon production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and take on a key leadership role in driving warehouse efficiency and excellence.

About the Role

This challenging and rewarding position involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving and storing supplies, managing stock levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of customer goods without damage. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing short-term and long-term warehouse planning strategies that meet company objectives and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and assign tasks to staff members effectively.
  • Develop and maintain layout and space management plans, work organization charts, procedures such as SOPs, 6S, and WI.
  • Manage stock control, including receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading and transferring, document recording, and data entry into Syteline.
  • Plan and coordinate warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for building security and stock.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and surrounding areas.
  • Promote motivation among staff to strive for efficient and effective warehouse administration.
  • Evaluate employee performance, maintain records, written warnings, reviews, and other related documents.
  • Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Update Safe Operating Procedures for mobile equipment as required.
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act, TDG, and WHIMS where necessary.
  • Monitor work times to ensure production timelines are kept within outlined schedules.
  • Review production processes and procedures for improvements and increased productivity.
  • Provide backup supervisor duties to other supervisors for vacation relief.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for repairs or maintenance on machines.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and tidy areas in accordance with Plant 5s goals.
  • Cross-train staff using skills matrix to minimize production impact due to attendance.
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurate with Syteline as per company cycle counting program.
  • Prepare warehouse activity reports, including KPIs, daily/weekly operations reports, health and safety, human resources.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), mechanical aptitude, understanding of how mobile equipment operates, experience with WCB regulations and risk assessments, previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset, trained or equivalent experience with Bottleneck management, Flow/JIT, Standard works, QDIP, A3 problem-solving, project platform, Lean, and 5s.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
