Purchasing Clerks Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerks Supervisor to join our team at Norc Windows & Doors. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the purchasing activities of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement purchasing plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of purchasing clerks to ensure efficient and effective purchasing processes.
- Plan and organize operational logistics, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless integration of purchasing activities.
- Prepare and submit reports on purchasing activities, including inventory levels and supply chain performance.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train workers in purchasing duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed to support business operations.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Judgement, organized, reliable, and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve purchasing processes.
