Purchasing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerks Supervisor to join our team at Norc Windows & Doors. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement purchasing plans to meet business needs and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and other terms.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking and understocking.
- Train and supervise purchasing clerks to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on purchasing activities, costs, and other relevant metrics.
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
- 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
