Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at SGS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our clients' products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and approving Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and managing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review and approval process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve CAPAs and manage the SOP review and approval process
  • Ensure timely completion of SOP reviews and CAPAs
  • Coordinate employee trainings and ensure timely completion
  • Represent SGS as the Trainings and Document Control site representative and manage all activities for these implemented programs
  • Maintain client test methods and specification databases
  • Perform internal audits and follow-ups for effectiveness
  • Maintain vendor evaluation programs
  • Coordinate with clients and legal for quality agreements, maintain databases and records
  • Participate in regulatory and client audits
  • Provide backup support in designated areas in the absence of QA management
  • Oversee equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance programs, and review technical SOPs for completeness
  • Approve method/specification assessment forms, review CCRs, technical memos, and reports
  • Work on special projects assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
  • Over three years of related experience
  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role preferred
  • Ability to identify GMP deficiencies in reports and protocols
  • Proficiency in using various computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
