We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation and Classification Consultant to join our People and Culture team. This role will play a critical part in shaping the organization's compensation strategy and ensuring internal equity and adherence to policy.
Job Description
The Senior Compensation and Classification Consultant will be responsible for:
- Consulting with senior leaders on organizational design and job classification.
- Providing advice on compensation-related matters, including salary administration, surveys, and market analysis.
- Leading projects to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate records of job descriptions, classification systems, and compensation data.
- Collaborating with the Associate Vice President, People and Culture, to develop and implement various initiatives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Compensation, or a related field.
- At least five years' experience in compensation and classification, preferably in a unionized public sector environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
