We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation and Classification Consultant to join our People and Culture team. This role will play a critical part in shaping the organization's compensation strategy and ensuring internal equity and adherence to policy.

Job Description

The Senior Compensation and Classification Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Consulting with senior leaders on organizational design and job classification.
  • Providing advice on compensation-related matters, including salary administration, surveys, and market analysis.
  • Leading projects to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate records of job descriptions, classification systems, and compensation data.
  • Collaborating with the Associate Vice President, People and Culture, to develop and implement various initiatives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Compensation, or a related field.
  • At least five years' experience in compensation and classification, preferably in a unionized public sector environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
