About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in providing complete solutions for Canadian small businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a wide range of broker partners to assess and manage risks for small businesses
- Make informed underwriting decisions that meet the needs of all parties involved
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize technical skills to ensure accurate risk assessments
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for less experienced underwriters
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the property and casualty industry
- Completed or pursuing CIP designation
- Strong customer service background
- Team-first mentality
- Small Business experience is an asset
