Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team and lead a small group of engineers in building and improving our current product. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and enhancing our current product
  • Working on new and existing applications and products
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in the team
  • Leading best practices and clearing technical debt
  • Managing and leading the team on a day-to-day basis
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Product Development
  • Supporting existing team members through code reviews and mentorship
  • Leading standups/sprints, bug fixes, and improvements to products
  • Building new features (70-80% hands-on coding)

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and React.js
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
