CB Canada is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team in Whitby, ON. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain all production equipment, including electrical systems and automation
- Perform hands-on programming, debugging, and troubleshooting of various types of automation and mechanical equipment
- Coordinate project controls and electrical activities to ensure project timing, quality, and cost targets are met
- High-level knowledge of manufacturing systems for automation, including PLCs, PCs, robots, servos, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Participate in team analysis for problem-solving of major breakdowns
- Ensure all production-related equipment is maintained to achieve efficiency and effectiveness with proper uptime, yields, and throughput
- Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (309A or 442A) and relevant industrial experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills and a strong belief in employee teamwork and operating excellence concepts
- Knowledge of Air Compressors, High Viscosity Pumps, PLCs, robots, conveyors, and/or pneumatics is an asset
- $80K + OT after 40hrs
