About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Technician to join our team for a contract position from September 2024 to October 2024.
This is a full-time, in-office role that requires extended hours including weekends and evenings for the duration of the contract.
The successful candidate will provide first-level technical support for staff at voting locations across BC, resolving incidents efficiently and escalating when necessary.
About You- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold a High School Diploma + College or university enrollment/degree.
- Have 1-5 years' experience in IT Tech Support/Help Desk service industry.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
- Proficient in hardware, Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
- Working knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
- No Criminal Record and eligible to work in Canada.
- College diploma or university degree in computer science and/or information technologies.
- CompTIA A+ Certifications.
