About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food service industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
