Job Description

As a System Operations and Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and maintain our servers, network equipment, and applications, identifying and reporting any anomalies promptly. You will also perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as updates, backups, and recovery, according to established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to and resolve online issues during non-working hours in China, minimizing the impact of failures.
  • Assist in monitoring the operation status of servers, network equipment, and applications, identifying and reporting anomalies.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as updates, backups, and recovery, according to established procedures and standards.
  • Participate in the development and optimization of operations tools under the guidance of senior engineers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in writing simple scripts to automate operational tasks.
  • Organize and update technical documents and operation manuals related to operations, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
  • Document problems encountered during system operation and the resolution process to provide references for future operational work.
  • Actively learn new operations technologies and tools to improve personal technical skills.
  • Participate in internal technical training and sharing sessions, growing together with the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with preference given to those with a major in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic commands and operations of the Linux operating system.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Golang or Python, with strong coding skills.
  • Understanding of common middleware like Kafka, Traefik, MySQL, and Mesh, including their basic usage and operations.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and learning ability, along with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
  • Strong interest in operations and development work, willing to continuously develop in this field.
