Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Northern Inn & Steak House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand
  • Sanitize and clean kitchen equipment and surfaces
  • Receive and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
