Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team at Connor Industries. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including gas welding machines
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
