Resident Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at SIENNA-BALTIC LAKEVIEW INC. As a Resident Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Job Summary:The Resident Care Aide will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe environment, perform light housekeeping duties, and assist with meal preparation and serving.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Collect specimens, administer first aid in emergency situations, and provide companionship
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, launder clothing and household linens
- Administer bedside and personal care, feed or assist in feeding, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Criminal record check, immunization records, vulnerable sector check, and tuberculosis test
The Resident Care Aide will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.
