The Lloydminster & District Co-op is seeking a skilled Ag Retail Manager to lead our Lloyd Agro South location.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute marketing strategies and sales budgets to drive business growth.
- Conduct customer analysis to inform sales and marketing plans, focusing on seed acres, farm trends, and agri-products sales.
- Oversee record-keeping functions, including sales, inventory, and supply management.
- Supervise and train agri-products staff, conducting performance reviews and development planning.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop sales and marketing programs for the market area.
- Lead agri-products sales efforts within the location's market area.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and accounts receivable management.
- Establish and maintain efficient warehousing procedures, prioritizing space, accessibility, and inventory positioning.
- Present the agri-products center in an attractive and appealing manner, showcasing inventory and promotional materials.
- Prepare annual operating, repair, and maintenance budgets, recommending capital requirements to the Market Center Manager.
- Ensure staff receive necessary safety and environmental training.
- Five years of experience in agr-products inventory management and sales, with a strong understanding of agri-products and grain marketing.
- Diploma in Administration or Agriculture, with relevant certifications such as WHMIS, TDG, and CCA designation.
- Forklift Operator and First Aid Certification.
