Senior Lighting Artist

Behaviour Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Artist to join our talented Dead by Daylight team. As a key contributor to our exciting project, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of artists and developers to create a visually stunning game.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the technical and art teams to develop the visual style and validate the quality of the lighting.
  • Study the game documentation to understand the experience we want to offer our players.
  • Define workflows and create visual benchmarks.
  • Design lighting systems that will support the visual style and gameplay.
  • Maintain a consistent level of quality while respecting artistic and technical constraints.
  • Provide feedback on developing lighting pipelines and tools.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience designing lighting for games.
  • Strong understanding of art fundamentals and design including composition and colour theory.
  • Strong understanding of PBR and PBL fundamentals.
  • Solid technical knowledge of how to create runtime lighting in game engines.
  • Good communication skills in French and in English.
