About the Role

Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in their homes. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to assess and develop personalized therapy plans that promote independence, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' needs and develop comprehensive therapy plans
  • Provide in-home therapy services to clients, including assessments, interventions, and education
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety
  • Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
