About the Role

Petrojaffer116 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our gas bar location. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Sales: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a safe and healthy working condition.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in sales promotions and events.
  • Verify Age of Customers: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, team player.
