Job Description

At WCG International Consultants Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Services Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work from home and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

About the Role

This role involves conducting comprehensive Transferable Skills Analyses (TSAs) to identify suitable vocational options for clients based on their functional capacity, education, training, work history, and transferable skills. The successful candidate will develop and submit reports that clearly support conclusions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct TSAs based on review of clients' education, training, and experience, taking into account functional limitations or restrictions
  • Identify appropriate employment options through the TSA for which the client would be employable based on their education, training, and transferable skills
  • Follow established processes and program requirements to support completion of analyses and recommendations
  • Develop final reports that clearly support conclusions and recommendations
  • Submit reports according to established service standards and timelines
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Rehabilitation, Social Sciences, Health Services, Human Services, or a related field. Additionally, they must have one of the following:

  • A health professional designation; or
  • Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP or CVRP-F); OR in Québec, Career Counsellors registered with the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du Québec

Or, if not yet certified, the candidate must be working toward a health professional designation within two years, or in the process of obtaining a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP or CVRP-F) within two years; or have five years of experience in case management, with a concrete development plan inclusive of mentorship/supervision to obtain credentials within two years toward one of the following designations: Certified Return to Work Coordinator, Certificate in Disability Management, or Certified Disability Management Professional.

PLUS, a minimum of one year experience in the direct provision of medical, psycho-social or vocational rehabilitation services including conducting assessments and making recommendations to support a comprehensive plan.
