Job Title: Children's Party Entertainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an OUTGOING and EXCITING individual to join our team as a Children's Party Entertainer. As a Mad Science Show Performer, you will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MAD SCIENCE PARTIES and SHOWS for children aged 4-12
  • Deliver AMAZING science presentations that will WOW your audiences
  • Visit schools, libraries, camps, homes, and more to deliver our unique science programs
  • Work with groups of children, promoting a safe and efficient learning environment
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new science programs

Requirements:

  • An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality
  • Experience working with groups of children aged 4-12
  • Some experience in theater a plus
  • Reliable transportation (A MUST)
  • A cell phone
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Must be available evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of basic science (don't worry - we'll train the rest)
  • Lots of ENERGY
  • All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiring
