Position Purpose

The Product Manager, Hosted Events is responsible for planning and executing events that position Info-Tech Research Group as a leader in the industry by sharing expert knowledge and strategic insight. These events enable the organization to engage directly with potential and current clients to drive growth.

This role involves collaboration with sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the events, event attendance, and the effective follow-up on generated opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Sourcing and Strategic Planning:
    • Identify and evaluate events with a strategic focus on value positioning across the market to ensure opportunities for attendance across North America, APAC, and Europe.
    • Work closely with Sales and key stakeholders to plan and approve events based on historical success, ITRG Products, and suggestions from stakeholders.
    • Strategically position ITRG in the market by hosting events that enhance brand awareness and foster client acquisition.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as the internal brand ambassador, ensuring that the right sales representatives attend selected events.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align event participation with business objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Ensure that the value of hosted events is widely understood across the organization through collaborative communication.
    • Oversee the communication with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal attendance for each event.
    • Provide detailed reports on event performance, including metrics on opportunity generation, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on third-party or vendor-managed events.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
