Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at the Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions, including employee data, benefits, and deductions
- Respond to inquiries from staff regarding salary, benefits, and payroll-related policies and procedures
- Produce and distribute payroll-related output, such as employee pay statements and pay cheques
- Update employee data files and benefit accumulation within our computerized system
- Three years' recent related experience in payroll administration
- Typing test of 45 wpm or greater completed within the past 48 months from a recognized institution
- Certificate or official transcript showing proof of completion of a recognized payroll course
- Resume indicating relevant experience and education
- Cover letter stating availability to start in a new position
