Overview

Paladin Security is committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients and visitors in our Emergency Departments. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Ambassador to join our team.

Job Summary

The Client Service Ambassador will play a critical role in enhancing the patient experience by providing proactive engagement, support, and guidance to patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to effectively manage hostile or aggressive behavior.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with patients and visitors to develop a positive safety culture and create opportunities to enhance the user experience.
  • Build rapport with clinical and operations stakeholders to collaborate on patient behavior management planning.
  • Develop customized approach plans to safely and effectively manage individual patients and visitors who present a potential risk of violence.
  • Conduct hourly censuses of waiting areas and document client contacts using tablets and technology.
  • Liaise with staff to ensure support options and resources are available and appropriate.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or High School graduation equivalent.
  • Post Secondary education in Social based coursework or equivalent work experience.
  • ASIST Training is an asset.
  • First Aid CPR AED.
  • Mental Health and Wellness SJA an asset.
  • Experience working in a customer service-related industry.

Certification Requirements

  • Code of Conduct/Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C.
