Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Inspiretci. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize equipment performance.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and reduce the use of parts and labor.
  • Assist with maintenance operations, including machinery, HVAC systems, and boiler operations.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and charts to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Conduct continuous assessments of the manufacturing facility to identify areas for improvement and implement repairs and upgrades.
  • Work closely with production managers, supervisors, and quality assurance teams to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless production operations.
  • Follow a preventative maintenance program and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Provide 24/7 coverage and emergency response, including equipment repair, stabilization, and mobilization of resources as needed.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform basic computer skills and comprehend complex plans and specifications.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, work in a freezer environment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects on time.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in plant maintenance, with a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Maintenance certificate or Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Maintenance, or related field, preferred.
