We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our team. The Quality Specialist is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Superheat quality programs. Areas of responsibilities shall include QA and QC activities to ensure quality requirements are planned and executed. This position will support the Quality Supervisor and Quality Director and be a key contact for Regional Management and client quality issues.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in bid and contract reviews (review client quality requirements)
- Review customer documents, identify and communicate quality requirements
- Verify Superheat QA Program implementation and compliance (participate in audits and surveys)
- Generate, investigate, and close OFIs and nonconformance reports
- Assist with managing ISO 9001:2015 and Class I Nuclear QA programs (audits, procedures, forms, management review)
- Generate, file, and support the maintenance and communication of administrative, operating and execution procedures (Nuclear Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans, QEPs, Class I procedures, etc.)
- Participate in planning and execution meetings (internal and external)
- Participate in client quality audits
- Assist Regional Management with quality related issues
- Participate in Regional Monthly Key Performance Indicator meetings, when requested
- Purchase and receive quality items (temperature measurement instruments and materials)
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the SmartCenter training program (issue certificates, update training material, administer courses as the SME)

**Qualifications**
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team.
- Excellent computer skills and proven troubleshooting abilities.
- Demonstrated problem solving and investigation traits.
- Strong knowledge base of all ASME Codes and amendments as well as ISO 9001:2015 and NQA-1 requirements.
- Must have the demonstrated capability to generate and critique Quality Documents with a strong emphasis on absolute accuracy and correctness.

**Work and Educational Experience**
- Previous experience in a Quality environment
- Previous experience in the Superheat SmartCenter an asset
- Lead auditor training an asset
- Post-secondary equivalent in a related field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.58-$26.54 per hour
