Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring that they are aligned with our culinary vision and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with our chef and culinary team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing dishes.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene practices.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
