About the Role

The Town of Renfrew is seeking a visionary Chief Administrative Officer to lead the strategic direction and efficient delivery of administrative and operational services. As the key advisor to Council, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans that align with the municipality's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization
  • Develop and implement operational plans that support the municipality's strategic priorities
  • Recommend policies, plans, and programs that benefit residents and promote growth and development
  • Lead a talented team and foster a workplace culture focused on service excellence, innovation, and teamwork
  • Collaborate with Council and stakeholders to ensure effective municipal operations and fiscal accountability
Requirements

We are seeking an inspiring, principled, and collaborative executive leader with a proven track record of results and accomplishments in related leadership experience. You will have exceptional communication skills, political acumen, and the ability to interact with an engaged council, diverse stakeholders, and foster the development of partnerships.

You will have an exceptional understanding of forward-thinking strategies as it relates to managing growth, ensuring effective municipal operations in a fiscally accountable fashion, and guiding the organization into the future while retaining the town's community charm.
