About This Role
Taseko Mines Limited is seeking a skilled Geologist in Training to join its team at the Gibraltar Mine in south-central British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously develop safety skills and habits to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work with the Mine Engineering group, including rotating roles, to support mine operations.
- Conduct daily Ore control field checks and communicate blend plans to mine and mill departments.
- Support ongoing Grade control improvement initiatives and mine to mill projects.
- Core logging and chip logging.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Geological experience mapping and logging of porphyry or similar deposit types.
- Open pit mine experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Mineplan, Leapfrog Geo, and Wenco.
