Job Summary:

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients, including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the facility's policies and procedures.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments, including medications and therapies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Participate in ongoing education and maintain competency with professional standards of practice.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) registration.
  • Knowledge of regional/facility/unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to prioritize care for individual patients or groups of patients.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
  • Proficient with computers, software programs, and applications.
