Job Overview:
">- This role is part of the multi-person Furnishings & Equipment Planning team, responsible for facilitating clinical and non-clinical equipment for capital and minor projects.
Responsibilities:
">- The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, budgetary management, technical expertise, and clinical application in planning and acquiring clinical and non-clinical equipment.
- They will create technical cut sheets, project documentation, detailed equipment lists, and support internal and external process approvals.
- The incumbent must develop detailed technical specifications and procurement strategies for tender and procurement of required clinical and/or non-clinical equipment.
- Additional responsibilities include attending project meetings, coordinating with government agencies, physicians, clinicians, and other stakeholders throughout the planning and procurement process.
Requirements:
">- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of acute care hospital experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of clinical and medical terminology.
- The prospective candidate must have strong computing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven ability to lead by example and motivate project teams.
- Additionally, they require adaptability, prioritization, and effective time management skills in a high-pressure, project-based work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
">- A background in project management or a formal PMP designation is an asset.
- Technical, medical equipment expertise is also desirable.
Compensation:
">Based on location and industry standards, the estimated annual salary range for this position is between $30.00 and $51.54 per hour, which translates to approximately $62,400 to $106,808 per year (full-time), assuming a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
