Lasta Cafe Ltd. is seeking a skilled Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment, and assisting with the preparation and sale of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment, including the display of merchandise and the preparation of baked goods
  • Assist with the preparation and sale of baked goods, including baking, decorating, and packaging
  • Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and display cases
  • Supervise and assist with the training of new bakery staff members
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Assist with the maintenance of the bakery's social media presence and online ordering system
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
