About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at A&W Fast Food Restaurant. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
    • Portion and wrap foods for customers
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Work Environment
