About the Role

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Report Analyst and Developer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis.

This role is part of our US reporting team, which oversees the bank's reporting for the branch network and branch-level employee reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining day-to-day frontline reporting that feeds into bankers' scorecard dashboards, driving incentives and business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in building, automating, and testing dashboards in PowerBI, linking data within the dashboards, and participating in meetings to understand business requirements. Additionally, they will have experience with SQL databases and working with large sets of data from different platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reporting solutions using PowerBI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop reports
  • Design and build dashboards to visualize data and drive business decisions
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through testing and quality assurance
  • Participate in meetings to discuss reporting needs and requirements
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data reporting and analysis
  • Expertise in PowerBI and SQL databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
