Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Saanichton Coffee Shop.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Supervise Food Service Staff: Oversee the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our staff grow and succeed in their roles.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring that our food and service meet the expectations of our customers.
- Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain Records: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
