Civil Engineering Technician Job Description

HC Matcon Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by assisting in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, conducting field surveys and inspections, and supervising or conducting field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
  • Conduct field surveys and inspections
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Valid driver's license
