Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure adequate staffing levels and high-quality service.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback, sales, and inventory management.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Quesada Burritos & Tacos, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
