Job Title: Truck Mechanic Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Inspect motor in operation
  • Review work orders

Requirements:

  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Experience in truck repair and maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
