Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Ron Braniff Trucking Ltd. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work with electrical and electronic systems, including ignition and electrical systems
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines, including engine repair and overhaul
  • Work with hydraulic systems, including brake systems and fuel and emission systems
  • Perform welding and other metalwork tasks
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Dependability, flexibility, and good judgement
